1922-1923. Brochure. This 16-page (including the cover) advertising brochure measures 8” x 9” opened. Its front and rear panels feature a colorful illustration of two of the line's ships and a sampan. In nice shape with some minor wear to the edges.
Also included is a colorful postcard of the “Ten-Yo Maru” mailed from San Francisco, California in 1908.
The brochure provides descriptions and both exterior and interior images of the TKN’s luxury passenger liners. Deck plans of its two most famous ships, the S.S. Tenyo Maru, S.S. Shinyou Maru, as well as the S.S. Korea Maru and S.S. Siberia Maru, are included. The brochure emphasizes the vessels’ luxurious staterooms, suites, lounges, dining salons, and food service.
