Four-page insert from the September 1909 edition of St. Nicholas magazine. Includes two full-page color illustrations and two pages of b/w drawings with poem. The verse accompanying the illustration references "Casey at the Bat," and the large color illustration of the adult baseball player looks like it could be a flattering drawing of a smiling Honus Wagner of the Pittsburgh Pirates (who as one of the best teams of all times were heading toward a World Series Championship that year) although the name on the belt is "Casey."
