Solon Springs, Wisconsin to Los Angeles, California: 1905. Card. The card is franked with a green 1-cent Franklin stamp (Scott #300) cancelled by a Solon Springs, Wisconsin postmark. It also bears a circular Los Angeles receiving handstamp. The card features pen and ink illustration in red and black of a young woman standing upon an upholstered chair to avoid a mouse scurrying on the floor below. It is captioned: “there are moments when one likes to be alone,” and contains the text, “Dearest, Thanks for the postals. Come soon again. I’m better. Love and kisses your loving Nellie. I love your letters. They’re so sweet.” In nice shape. Very good. Item #009434
