Simon Brentano's 1912 Washington Monument (New York City) Ceremony Volunteer Firemen Association Ribbon and Medal

New York City: 1912. The medal is approximately 7" long. The pale blue ribbon has faded printing that reads "Dedication of / Washington's Monument / Feb 22 1912 / New York City." A hanging medallion, featuring a color illustration of a firemen saving a woman as flames blaze around him, contains the text, "Exempt and Volunteer Firemen Association / New York City." An additional color medallion with a portrait of George Washington is affixed to the ribbon. A brass pin-plate at the top has an insert that reads, "Simon Brentano." Some soiling. Good to Very Good.
