Over 180 captioned photographs (approximately 2.5" x 3.5" to 6" x 8") capturing the highlights of a couple's tour of Japan, Hong Kong, India and Nepal, Aden, the Malay Peninsula, Ceylon (Sri Lanka), and Egypt as part of a group of about 25 passengers aboard Japanese-flagged "India Trader" cargo ship. The photographs are in nice shape. All but four are attached; several have paperclip stains or indentations. Very Good. Item #008399
Photographs include snapshots of life on board the ship (on deck, costume party, organized games), Japan (hotels, temples, scenic locations, rickshaws, train, gardens, the Kamakura Buddha), Hong Kong (hotel, street scene), Nepal (Mount Everest), Maylay (small sampan), Ceylon (Galla Face Hotel, fishing boats, elephants, bamboo and rubber trees), India (temples, Taj Mahal, people bathing, ghats, snake charmers, peddlers, ox carts), and Egypt (Pyramids, Sphinx, camels).
