#268. Paperback original collection of seven hardboiled detective stories by Cain from Black Mask detective pulp. Cover show wary brunette driving a car with bullet hole in windshield. Cover is bright with some wear. Pages clean and supple with toning. Paper spine cover is intact. Slightly cocked, possibly reglued, with edgewear to pages 19-36. No tape.
