Racine, Wisconsin Whitman 1938 Printed Wrapper Good - No Jacket
Very scarce Whitman linen folio (#889) produced in conjunction with Walt Disney Enterprises. Much harder to find than the similarly titled A Mickey Mouse Alphabet Book. Superb color illustrations of Disney characters for each letter of the alphabet. Pages generally clean, but worn. Page colors are still vibrant. Couple of pages have closed edge tears; noted two mended with what appears to be almost invisible Scotch magic tape. Cover has considerable wear with a series of pinholes parallel to spine; possibly from an old hand-sewn reinforcement although book is holding together will with just the stapled binding now. You don't see this title very often. Certainly not pristine, but priced accordingly.
