Very hard-to-find hardcover edition with even more scarce dustjacket. Whitman sequel to Bannerman's original tale. As punishment for almost losing his "Sunday clothes" to the tigers, Black Mumbo takes them away and makes Sambo wear a native grass skirt. Great color and b/w illustrations. Tight binding. Clean pages. Cover has some light wear, mostly at ends of spine. Some wear and light soiling to dust jacket; small old tape repair on reverse. Protected by an archival cover.
