Original maroon morocco binding with five raised bands. Gilt lettering and decorations. All page edges gilt. Clean pages and plates. Some light intermittent foxing to the introductory pages, but none to the beautiful plates. Some of the extreme edges of the plates have some light toning. Minor cover wear. An especially nice example of a very large and impressive reference work.
