He also appeared on numerous variety and talk shows often in the guise of his most well-known character, Super Dave, a Hollywood daredevil whose outrageous stunts always went awry causing him severe injuries. Interestingly, Einstein's friend from the Smothers Brothers show, Pat Paulsen, is featured in an uncredited cameo role at the end of the book.
