Postcard Lowenbrau "Drunk Lion" Animated Postcard

Scarce, moveable advertising postcard for Lowenbrau. The pull tab moves the lion's front right leg and he tips a foaming stein of beer to his mouth. Lowenbrau also used the drunk lion in other types of advertising including large backbar figurines and store displays. The animation works great. Other Munich images appear in the background: Lowenbrau Haus, Octoberfest ferris wheel, the Frauenkirche, the Rathaus tower, etc. Unused.

Unused. Undivided back. Nice color illustration of a boy and girl standing alongside the American flag. "The Saloon or the Boys and Girls" was a slogan of the Anti-Saloon League, the leading prohibitionis lobby of the early 20th century. Crisp and bright with just a hint of toning.
