Tight binding with sound hinges. Clean pages. Almost no cover wear. Light wear to dust jacket. Protected by an archival cover. See accompanying scanned image.

Chicago Hollow Tree House 1948 Pictorial Cover Very Good Very Good 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall Crandall, C. Leslie 
Very nice copy of a charming hard-to-find picture book about an abandoned tricycle, Ting-a-Ling, who is adopted by a little boy, Jimmy Gee, in San Francisco's Chinatown. Very attractive full page color illustrations. Clean with no writing, scibbles, etc. Tight binding with intact hinges although front hinge has a small 1/2" split at top. Cover is in very nice shape with little wear. Dustjacket has some light soiling and wear, especially along spine. Protected by an archival cover.

Hubbard Publishing 1897 Printed Wrapper Good No Jacket 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall Cox, Palmer 
Nice copy of a Palmer Cox classic. Great color cover and numerous b/w illustrations throughout, many of which would never make it over today's political correctness hurdle. Includes two additional stories: Tale of the Ostrich Hunter and The Balky Mule Outwitted. Full page ad for The Bazaar on back cover. No writing, coloring, or scribbles. All pages firmly attached by a stapled binding. Staples appear to have been replaced but there are some small rust stains around them. Spine has been reinforced with transparent archival tape. One page has a 1" closed tear and several have very tiny (about 1/16") edge tears.

Some small rust stains at binding staples.
